Shaker Trestle Tables
Available in 5, 6, or 7-foot lengths. Construction is of solid Cherrywood (shown above) or Maple (your choice). The top is 1-1/4" thick. No skimping on the width. It is a full 35". Prices are for fully assembled tables with clear hand rubbed oil finish*.

Bench with Back
Angular yet extremely graceful lines in this bench typify the Shaker approach. Designed for a Shaker school room, it coordinates perfectly with our Trestle Table. An economical alternative to several chairs, the bench permits a practical seating arrangement. It is equally suitable for a hall or entryway. Oil finished. Available in Cherrywood (shown in photo) or Maple (your choice).

Blanket Chest
The Shakers adapted their blanket boxes and chests from earlier colonial types. They often served as storage chests in "retiring rooms". Handsomely designed with hand dovetailed joinery and bottom lined with aromatic cedar, we offer them in two sizes, in Cherry or Maple. The larger chest is the same width as a twin bed.

Round Stand
This nicely proportioned table from New Lebanon NY was fashioned in the mid 1830's. It bears witness to the elegant simplicity & utility which distinguished Shaker furniture. Cherrywood, with hand-rubbed Oil Finish.

Two Stepper
A set of steps such as this enables one to efficiently access the tallest chests of drawers and built-in cupboards. Ours derives from an original Two Stepper, made by the Hancock Shakers around 1835, but features broader steps for far greater stability. Its clean profile, with crisp dovetailed joinery, is truly in step with the times. Handrubbed to a satin smooth oil finish in your choice of Cherry (shown in photo), Walnut or Maple.

One Stepper
Step Stool with hand hold. Here's a contemporary piece that coordinates beautifully with traditional Shaker design and features the same dovetailing and finish as our Two Stepper. Available in Cherry, Walnut or Maple (shown in photo).

Small Braced Bench
Also called a "cricket", the original was made at Hancock in the mid-19th century. It may have served as a bench, stepstool or footstool. The half-dovetailed angled braces, delicate proportions and durable construction are typically Shaker. Available in Cherry or Walnut (shown in photo).
