We're located at 5 Inverness Way S., in the coastal village of Inverness.
We're within the scenic Point Reyes National Seashore area of Marin county,
40 miles north of San Francisco.
Our showroom is always open
Fridays & Saturdays from 10:30 - 5:00,
but we are usually here during normal business hours and we welcome your visit anytime by prior appointment.

Kits
Please specify your choice of
seat tape colors
and/or stain colors
where applicable.
Stain choice is Light, Amber, Medium, Dark, or Ebony.
Clear Oil Finish may be substituted for stain and is also an excellent final finish.
It may be used by itself to enhance the natural color of cherrywood,
or to produce a subtle light tone on maple or pine.
Shipping
Most of our kits, accessories and gift items can be shipped by United Parcel Service or Parcel Post.
Please include shipping charges in your payment.
Shipping charges shown below apply to the 48 contiguous states.
For delivery to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada, double the shipping charges.
For other worldwide deliveries we suggest ordering by credit card so we can charge prevailing shipping rates.
Terms
Please include full payment by check or money order, in US funds, payable to Shaker Shops West,
or fill out the appropriate credit card information on the order form.
We will promptly confirm your order, indicating expected shipping date.
International Orders
We will quote shipping charges for your approval before charging your credit card or shipping your order.
We greatly appreciate your courtesy in communicating in English.
Custom Assembled, Finished, and Oversized Items
For custom assembled and finished pieces, please specify your choice of Stain:
Light, Amber, Medium, Dark, Ebony, or just Clear Oil Finish.
Also let us know your chair tape color preference (in 1" or 5/8" width),
and we will weave the seat in the traditional Checker-board pattern.
If a herringbone pattern is desired, 5/8 tape must be used at least one way.
In some cases, assembled kits and certain other large items exceed United Parcel Service size limitations
and must be shipped by motor freight, collect,
which means that shipping charges are payable directly to the driver upon delivery.
This is indicated by the words "(Freight collect)" below the price of the item.
We charge for packing and crating these items as indicated by an asterisk*.
When assembled furniture is compact enough to be shipped (more economically) by U.P.S. this will be done.
Crating charges may still apply.
Local customers can avoid crating and shipping charges by picking up at our shop in Inverness;
also, we offer inexpensive delivery in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Terms
A deposit of 50% is required when you place your assembled and finished order.
We will ask you for the balance when your order is ready to ship, or bill your credit card, if you prefer.
We generally ship assembled and finished work within 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of your order.
